The answer? SKY On-Demand.
Last night (Feb. 24), SKY Cable Corporation staged the event “The Big Level-Up” at the Loft @ Manansala Rockwell and launched SKY On-Demand, the answer to the viewers’ long-time need to catch-up on their missed episodes or relive their favorite movies directly on TV. Made possible by the impressive and growing video-on-demand library of iWant TV, SKY On-Demand allows every member of the family to catch-up on episodes of local and foreign cable TV shows using their big TV screen at home.
SKY On-Demand runs on the most advanced digibox to date – harnessing the capabilities of SKYcable and SKYbroadband subscriptions to utilize the popular video streaming site, iWant TV. Both the SKY On-Demand digibox and the video on-demand service will be made available to the public on March 2015.
The big reveal was announced by SKY Cable Corporation’s COO Rodrigo Montinola who mentioned that “SKY continues to push technology to the next level with only 1 objective in mind — to Wow its Customers,” as the video loop was playing at the background. The video says it all, “BIG on everything current, BIG on stars, BIG on reality, BIG on kids’ entertainment, BIG on sports, and BIG on exclusives from the BIGGEST networks“.
This value-added service will be available nationwide by March 2015 for a one-time-fee of as low as Php 499 to easily upgrade from current digibox to the SKY On-Demand digibox. For new SKYcable subscribers, installation fee for a SKY On-Demand digibox may be availed for as low as Php 2,199 depending on the plan subscribed. To fully enjoy the power of SKY On-Demand, your home internet connection should be at least at 3Mbps. SKYbroadband offers 3Mbps Plan for a monthly fee of Php 999.
“The Big Level-Up” was hosted by Kapamilya stars JM Rodriguez and Maricar Reyes. It also featured enthralling performances by Kapamilya Diva, Morisette Amon.
