Went here on a Thursday afternoon braving the traffic from Commonwealth to this part of Fairview City to witness SM City Fairview’s 3D Mapping event.
Well the road to Fairview has seen a lot of new improvements with the rise of new establishments along the way like food parks which are now the trending hubs for foodies.
Travel time to SM City Fairview depends on what time you’re going there. Expect a rush along the Commonwealth area during the high times of the day.
SM City Fairview looks very different now if you’ve seen this place a few years ago. More stores have opened up and new restaurants like Sambokojin fill the mall with new choices when you visit SM City Fairview. New stores like Miniso from Japan opened up recently for more shopping experience.
Capturing the holiday spirit, SM City Fairview features a wonderful Christmas world of The Little Prince centerpiece. Folks who grew up with the book written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry will feel a trip down to memory lane from the displays completing The Little Prince’s life-size statues.
The Little Prince, the Pilot, the Fox, and many more are displayed all around the mall so get ready to see one of the characters pop-out when you stroll around.
The Spectacular 3D Video Mapping
Aside from the magical centerpiece, shoppers were also treated with a spectacular 3D video mapping with a wide Christmas Holiday greetings set-up at the Entrance 3 facade. The 3D video presentation was made possible through the astonishing Epson projector in collaboration with Epson Philippines.
Where to eat?
If you’re looking for a whole day breakfast and afternoon coffee break, you may want to visit Bo’s Coffee’s newest concept store that features different menu on the board not found in one of the coffee shop’s kiosks that are found in other malls.
We love Bo’s Big Breakfast Club Plate. It’s perfect for those with big appetite and cravings. It’s high on protein and calories with a good-for-two servings of sausages, bacon, egg, corned beef, and toasted bread on the side. For pasta lovers, Bo’s also served Baked Macaroni Melt.
Buffet starts at around P600+++ on weekdays and P800+++ during weekends.
What we love about Sambokojin is the full service attendant that you can have upon request if you’re not up to going on the food stations by yourself. Without additional charges, you can request for your personal ‘butler’ who will prepare, cook, and serve your meals right on the table.
Kudos to Ms. Donita for helping us out in cooking our yakinikus!
Bears of Joy
The Bears of Joy culminated on Christmas day and have been a yearly tradition by the SM Supermalls and SM Cares. With every purchase of the bears, it will give joy and smiles to kids who’ll receive the other pair donated by the Bears of Joy shoppers.
The Little Prince Christmas centerpiece will go on display until January 8, 2017.
