In this live play presented by Repertory Philippines, Joy Virata directs Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, brings to life the classic fairy tale for everyone to enjoy from kids to young-at-hearts.

As we all know, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the story of a lady slaved by the Evil Queen and has been ordered to be killed by the palace’s Woodsman. The Woodsman took pity on Snow White and spared her life, leaving her in the forest where she met the seven dwarfs, living there.

The evil queen got envied when the The Mirror told her that the “fairest of them all is Snow White and Snow White alone.” Hearing that, the queen sent Snow White to the forest with the Woodsman. Eventually, the evil queen learned that Snow White is still alive. With the help of The Mirror, they conceived another diabolical plan to get rid of Snow White.

The second attempt was foiled by the dwarfs but the third try put Snow White into deep sleep when the evil queen, disguised as an old woman, gave her an apple with poison. Snow White fell asleep after taking a bite of the apple.

The dwarfs mourn on Snow White body but not for long. The Prince, who according to Snow White’s dream will rescue her, came and wake her up with a magical kiss. And they live happily ever after…
