Let’s say you’ve already seen Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens a couple of times and enjoyed every moment of the film, from the first sequence and up to the last. You’re so cool! Definitely a geek Star Wars fanboy (or fangirl). But on 2D cinema?
Wait. There’s more to it. 4DX. Yes. 4DX lets you feel the movie with augmented environmental effects that corresponds to every scene, like the weather feels or wind blown effect that you can feel right in front of you.
Thanks to MacPower Marketing Corporation for inviting us to join the special Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens block screening last night which took place at the 4DX Cinema, Central Square, Bonifacio High Street in Taguig last night. That was the fourth time we’ve seen Episode VII straight this week.
With 4DX, a lot of scenes became more entertaining to watch because of the special effects, from the moving seats to wind blowing, and made it feel like we were really part of the movie itself.
The MacPower Marketing Corporation Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens block screening was charged with fun and surprises from sponsors like Belkin, Switch, F1 Hotel Manila, with the grandest giveaway prize for the Best in Costume of a one (1) BB-8 app-enabled droid.
We had fun watching the film all throughout. 4DX is like 3D but with more added effects to compliment your viewing pleasure.
The MacPower Marketing Corporation Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens 4DX screening will be a memorable one since this is our first time to see a movie in 4DX version. And it’s Star Wars!
Before we end this post, we would also like to thank Microsoft Philippines for having us the previous night for their Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens block screening in 3D at SM Aura IMAX Theater. It was also fun and we brought home Funko Pop First Order Snowtrooper action figure toy. It was Microsoft Philippines’ way of thanking their friends, employees, and media for the fruitful year that they had for 2015.
Star Wars is still showing and you better catch it before the Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 starts next week. All foreign films will have to take a break from showing to give way for Filipino movies showing on the MMFF 2015 celebration.
Special mention of thanks to Khai Costumes for providing us with the awesome Kylo Ren costume that made us bag the Best in Costume 1st prize winner.
