One thing that we love about the new Suzuki Ertiga is the compactness of this car and could be the perfect family car with its 7-seater. It looks like small from the outside but when you feel the driver and the backseat, you’ll find it very comfortable as it have a very comfy legroom inside. So why buy a ladder frame AUV with high body roll and bumpy ride when you can have a monocoque with a true car-like for much less?
At first glance it looked like an extended Swift, which is our favorite, the sportiness and style that will make you want to drive in it immediately. The Ertiga is designed to be both stylish and aerodynamic. Smart side view mirrors are standard safety features for the GL variant. The GLX variant takes this a notch higher by including built-in fog lamps as added features for passenger safety.
So what should be the buying mantra? Upgrade but don’t up spend. This is what Suzuki, a leader in compact cars, is offering for Filipino families with the 7-seater, compact multi-purpose vehicle Ertiga. Dubbed as a Life Utility Vehicle (LUV), the all-new Ertiga combines the maneuverability and agility of a compact car with the spacious interiors of an MPV.
Sporting a 1.4L gasoline engine that produces a maximum power of 95Hp @ 6,000 rpm, a maximum torque of 130Nm @ 4,000 rpm, and an average fuel efficiency of 16.02 km/L*, the Ertiga ensures smooth and comfortable rides every time. The versatile compact MPV exhibits the same platform utilized by the well-loved Swift hatchbacks— only now enclosed in a larger, more spacious body.
Suzuki will be offering the Ertiga range locally in four variants: the Ertiga GA M/T (Php 619,000), GL M/T (Php 712,000), GL A/T (Php 752,000), and GLX A/T (Php 812,000). Ertiga will be available in Serene Blue, Firebrick Red, Granite Grey, Silky Silver, Superior White, and Dusky Brown colors.
Suzuki Ertiga is already available in all Suzuki dealerships nationwide.
See? It’s very affordable and we could just settle with GA M/T in Superior White color. We just love that neat and simple color.
Now our next step, should we decide to test drive the Ertiga, we’ll take it on an adventour ride! See you there!
