Tony Fernandes fired Celina Le Neindre on Wednesday‘s episode of The Apprentice Asia on AXN.
It was an emotional episode when Celina (Le Neindre) walked out of the room after losing her opportunity to become the first The Apprentice Asia, AXN’s reality-game show, winner. She couldn’t hold back her tears anymore as she left the building. It was Episode 7 and might be her last appearance on the reality-based show headed by Air Asia mogul, Tony Fernandes.
Celina felt that her defeat was driven by Alex’s (Lothar Bauduin) attempt to boot her out of the game and deliberately pointed out her weaknesses in front of boss Tony (Fernandes) and the shows Advisors, Mark Lankester, CEO of the Tune Hotels’ Group and Kathleen Tan, CEO of Expedia Asia.
Kathleen (Tan), who described Celina as a person who ‘fakes her smile‘, wasn’t satisfied of the uniform’s colors and design which were not contemporary and aligned with the airline’s standard requirements. Episode 7 was a challenge to make a new uniform design for Air Asia‘s ground and air cabin crew. Slightest mistake of Team Apex, where Celina was part of, was incorporating too much of the color white in the uniforms that even Tony himself finds a no-no for flight crew attendants.
It all boiled down to Celina’s weak points and made Tony to fire the first-ever Filipina to join this competition.
Apex is competing against Mavericks where another Pinoy, Jonathan Yabut is part of.
Catch another exciting episode of The Apprentice Asia this coming Wednesday, 9:05 PM on AXN, and let’s all find out if Jon (Yabut) will stay on the reality-game show to become the last man standing.
