My vision is not 20/20 as it seems. It’s a daily habit for me to wear on a prescription contact lenses each and every morning and to take it off to rest every evening. I also wear prescription eyeglasses on separate occasion whenever I needed to rest my eyes from the contact lenses. Frankly speaking, I envy people who don’t need to wear contacts or eyeglasses. If given a choice for eye laser surgery, I would try that option for me to stop wearing prescription eye-wear.
I’ve recently purchased a new pair of eyeglasses and had it installed with adaptive lenses (that changes colors under certain outdoor light conditions). I never had that idea before that there are lenses like that until I had it installed with Transitions Signature lenses.
On a sunny day
I noticed that the lenses changed its color from clear to dark shades while adapting to the hot climate and under a sunny day. That’s cool. The color turns from shades of tint gray to brown when I tested it for a walk.
My friends who saw me wearing my new eyeglasses thought I was wearing sunglasses.
“This is what the Transitions Signature lenses is all about,” I told myself. Thank goodness that Transitions Optical have already launched Transitions Signature lenses in the country. It does not only have responsive adaptive lens but it’s also developed with the latest Chromea 7 technology and tested with an exclusive measurement methodology, Life360, which enhances the visual experience of lens wearers. That’s what I’ve learned as I’ve searched the brand online.
Chromea 7 technology is an exclusive dye formulation which enables the lenses to be more responsive to the smallest change in light condition outdoors while maintaining clarity indoors. Chromea 7 also made the lenses more responsive to hot climates such as Asia and in the Philippines.
On a cloudy day
The lenses adapt to all outdoor conditions and even on a cloudy day there’s a slight change in colors which is really perfect for all-day protection as I commute between indoor and outdoor environments, as well as travel from different places.
When indoor, the color of the lenses changes back to clear glass.
It’s the first time for me to use Transitions Signature lenses and I think that this is a great visual experience (not just for me), but for everyone who wears eyeglasses.
This type of technology makes the eyeglasses not only becomes fully functional but also fashionable.
It’s really not comfortable wearing contact lenses or eyeglasses, add to the fact that there are many restrictions when you’re wearing them. You just have to adjust and make the most of it while wearing them.
With the kind of protection that Transitions Signature is giving, wearing eyeglasses becomes more comfortable. Furthermore, it does not affect the focus or view from the lenses which makes it even more satisfactory.
Wearing these lenses on a tropical country like ours is very much perfect because it has UV protection that keeps wearers safe from harmful UV rays and glare.
How about you? Do you wear eyeglasses with Transitions Signature lenses? What’s your story?
