For travelers visiting Seoul and Japan this time of the month should prepare for the cold weather as they embark from the airport and visit wonderful places in these two lovely destinations. Apart from the festivals from October all the way to December and far reaching up to February, people start to wear more coats, windproof jackets, and fleece outwear as this month signals the transition from summer to winter season in Seoul and Japan.

We’ve experienced autumn in Seoul where temperature drops to 7°C and coming from a tropical country, the need to prepare jackets and coats for the cold weather is a must-haves during these days. Good thing that UNIQLO has just expanded its line of fleece outerwear, including highly fashionable coats for Fall Winter 2015 collection. The UNIQLO fleece also provides greater inner warmth at 1.5°C.

Gloves are not yet required during autumn, but as the weather changes to winter, they may just come in very handy, as you visit nearby attractions such as Gyeongbokgung, Deoksugung, Cheonggyecheon, and Myeong-dong in Seoul and Tokyo, Hokkaido, Akita Perfecture, and Niigata Perfecture, as some of the places to go to when in Japan.

In Manila, October is the start of the ‘ber‘ months which means a lot of places will have fairly cold temperature that Filipinos can enjoy until Christmas and New Year‘s day.

The expanded collection of UNIQLO fleece outerwear will provide great comfort for men, women, and children traveling abroad or staying in cold and breezy places in the country like Tagaytay and Baguio. We know some friends who will be visiting Seoul and Japan anytime soon and on winter season, and others who frequent going up to Mt. Province and Baguio City. Packing fleece outerwear should be considered part of travel essentials.

The UNIQLO Fall Winter 2015 features an expanded lineup of styles incorporating fleece made from special fibers that harnesses the sun’s energy, providing 1.5°C greater inner warmth.  Along with standard jacket types, this extra warm fleece is available in parkas and print fleece, as well as women’s fluffy fleece jackets and kids’ print fleece jacket. The cross-section of these special fibers is in a “C” shape that retains dead air to enhance warmth. Finally, the line includes an expanded range of check and bi-color designs, as well as those from UNIQLO’s MAGIC FOR ALL collaboration with Disney, which launched for Fall Winter 2015.
