Last August 17, leading food supplement brand, VlDA NutriSciences, joins Japan’s Kohjin Life Sciences in a press conference titled, “What Filipinos Need to Know about Glutathione” – in an effort to deliver new knowledge and eradicate prevailing rumors surrounding glutathione. The press conference was held at Hotel Jen along Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
Misconceptions about Glutathione include rumors such that it causes gastrointestinal pain, skin allergies, and other negative effects-all of which alarm people, specifically those who are already using the substance, and are planning to try it.
Kohjin Life Sciences members Mr. Yusuke Sauchi, Ms. Hitomi Ito, and Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine Associate Professor Dr. Wataru Aoi reached out to raise awareness to Filipinos taking glutathione, its importance, its depleting level in our bodies as we age, and its hidden benefits.
Not everyone know, aside from the known effects of glutathione to lighten the skin, keep a flawless complexion, and maintain a healthy liver, the substance has been found to detoxify our liver and overall body of harmful toxins and heavy metals which can be found in what we consume.
It is also found to be an effective immunity booster against deadly diseases such as AIDS, cancer, diabetes, and even cardiac disease. In addition to this, Glutathione helps in keeping our physique in shape and improves male fertility by providing needed nutrients for the sperm.
With all these relevant health benefits unknown to many Filipinos, VlDA and Kohjin will pursue this campaign to further common knowledge, break myths, and raise awareness about glutathione and ultimately, to provide more accessible glutathione supplements for the greater good of Filipino health and wellness.
Each of the three Japanese guest speakers have promising backgrounds in the fields of medical and pharmaceutical research and technology. Mr. Sauchi and Ms. Hitomi are both currently a part of the Global Sales & Marketing Division for KHOJIN Life Sciences, Co. Ltd., Japan’s leading food and wellness supplement manufacturer.
Both Mr. Suachi and Ms. Hitomi have extensive backgrounds in molecular cell biology. Mr. Suachi has a Masters degree of Science from the Graduate School of Kyoto Prefectural University, while Ms. Hitomi has a Masters degree of Engineering from the Graduate School of Tokyo University.
