Nobody can deny that the #ALSIceBucketChallenge has made a big impact in the social media and created awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The Ice Bucket Challenge has already raised more than $40 million from celebrities and ordinary netizens who accepted the challenge, filmed it, and nominated three more persons to follow suit. Today, Talmon Marco, CEO and Founder of Viber who is in Tokyo took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and nominated three persons, one of whom is Peter Bithos, Chief Operating Advisor, Globe Telecom, Inc.
We are doing a series of articles to complete the Globe Digital Lifestyle innovation stories and our resource person is Bithos whom we met last night during Globe Digital Lifestyle Expo at the SM Megamall, Mega Fashion Hall.
We’ll be waiting and watching for Bithos to accept the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge within 24 hours from the time the video of Marco was uploaded on YouTube.
