During the TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2013 live interview, Marissa Mayer, CEO, Yahoo!, defended the new design of the ‘world’s largest start-up company‘, saying that they stick to the brand’s product and end-user experience without spending million of dollars for the redesigned logo.
Mayer defended Yahoo! after a month-long of previewing and presenting online various and possible logos to choose from.
“I like the way how it turned out and we’re happy with the logo,” says Mayer.
So what did really happen on the logo? This could be the question every individual’s thoughts right now.
“For 18 years we haven’t change (logo), so from now on we’ll do small alterations (overtime) just to keep the logo fresh and current,” Mayer answered when asked until when will be the new logo could be changed again.
We too were a little bit surprised but change does happen and we’ll still embrace this vision of Yahoo! We wonder what GMail users react on this.
