Known as one of the best restaurant finding application for mobile, Zomato Philippines launched their very first “Zomato Restaurant Summit” which took place at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel on Tuesday, May 19.
With the theme “Conquering the Digital Age,” Zomato Philippines conducted the summit in order to help the restaurant industry in the country to cope up with the ‘ever-changing demands’ brought y the digital age.
“There will always be something new to talk about in the restaurant industry,” said Anton Ojeda, Zomato Philippines country manager. “With the summit, Zomato hopes to let the industry know that we are here to lead the sector and help them take their businesses to a whole new level.”
Moreover, Zomato is known to be the world’s largest online and mobile restaurant searching service with 1 million restaurants from 22 countries including the Philippines, where there alone, over 11,000 restaurants with in-depth information are provided across Metro Manila.
During the summit, Ojeda also announced expansion of the company’s services to Cebu, meaning users from Cebu can now search for their favorite restaurants in their location via the mobile app.
At the event venue, Zomato also had networking sessions, breakout sessions, and exhibits of products and services from their participating sponsor like Globe myBusiness, Cignal, Yellow Cab Pizza, and many more.
